Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
This Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy forms part of the rental agreement between Great Ocean Road Prestige Hire (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the renter (“you”).
1. Cancellations
1.1 If you cancel your booking more than five (5) days prior to the scheduled rental commencement date, you will be entitled to a full refund.
1.2 If you cancel your booking between two (2) and four (4) days prior to the scheduled rental commencement date, you will be entitled to a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
1.3 If you cancel your booking within one (1) day of the scheduled rental commencement date, no refund will be provided.
2. No-Shows
2.1 If you fail to attend or collect the vehicle on the scheduled rental date without prior notice (“No-Show”), the booking will be treated as cancelled and no refund will be provided.
3. Early Returns
3.1 If the vehicle is returned prior to the agreed end of the rental period, no partial refund will be issued for unused rental time.
4. Rescheduling
4.1 You may reschedule your booking once, without fee, provided the request is made at least seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled rental commencement date.
4.2 Requests to reschedule made less than 72 hours before the scheduled rental commencement date will incur a $100 rescheduling fee.
5. Weather Conditions
5.1 Cancellations due to rain or normal weather conditions do not qualify for a refund.
5.2 If an official extreme weather warning is issued by the Victorian Government or the Bureau of Meteorology for the rental location and period, we may, at our discretion, permit the booking to be rescheduled.
6. Consumer Law
6.1 Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
